My picky eater usually turns her nose up at anything that isn't her usual kibble, but she licked the plate clean within minutes. The chunks are actual visible pieces of fish, not that mushy paste you find in other cans, and there's no weird jelly coating to scrape off.
The mackerel and tuna combo is visible right in the can—actual flakes, not mush—and that's clearly what my picky eater responds to. Opened a fresh can and the smell was properly fishy without being overwhelming, and the bowl was licked clean in under five minutes.
The mackerel and tuna chunks look like actual food, not mystery paste, which I appreciate. My cat went from sniffing it to devouring the whole bowl in under two minutes, so this is definitely going on the regular rotation.
